Bali's Sanctuary Sauna: the Sacred Banya Ritual at Teplo Concept Ubud
Join us as we explore "Bali's Sanctuary Sauna," an intimate look at the weekly women's retreat at Teplo Concept in Ubud. A community of women of different ages and body types gather to reset in this serene, sacred space on the other side of the planet where routine sweating, and ancient Banya rituals provide a path to profound inner healing and community.
Filmed by the ocean and jungle, the film immerses viewers in the ritual of banya, opening with a traditional wood-fired stove and the rhythmic application of a venik dipped in water infused with Bali’s herbs and citrus. Throughout the ceremony, participants, speaking in Russian, engage in Heart-Centered Healing, sharing powerful insights about love, presence, and letting go of stress. This leads into The Full Sensory Experience, where they engage in aromatherapy with natural plants, salt scrubs, singing, and spiritual practices with drums. The journey culminates in a refreshing swim and shared community time, proving that Teplo Concept is a sacred retreat and sanctuary supporting healing and releasing stress where the heart finds serenity.
