The Sauna & Bliss episode delves into the work of Vern Petty as he shares the transformative experiences offered at events centered around community, wellness, and self-discovery. Whether through counseling, dancing, or men's work, we see an undeniable importance of embracing vulnerability in the healing process.&

Vern Petty's work involves "deepening within the self, expanding who we are, healing the fragments of ourselves that come about from trauma", with the goal of integrating these fragmented parts through love, acceptance, and compassion. Dance is presented as a tool for connection – to oneself, to others, and to the earth. Learn about the power of stepping into discomfort to reach "a peak experience," described as "bliss" and "ecstatic joy".

A key element of these gatherings is the presence of a Finnish sauna, brought by Valtteri. The sauna is shown as a powerful way to boost the immune system, support health, and create a space for slowing down and being present. It fosters a sense of unity, where labels and masks fall away, and individuals can connect on a deeper level. The sauna is particularly valued in men's work and at festivals like the Enliven Wellness Festival, providing a space for relaxation and integration amidst intense workshops and celebrations.
